Home Delivered Meals

The Home Delivered Meals program, caters to individuals aged 60 and above, offering not only a nourishing meal but also companionship. The hot, nutritious meals are delivered during lunch hours, benefiting those who are unable to leave their homes, face challenges in meal preparation, or lack a caregiver to provide well-balanced meals.

Dining Clubs

At PAA, we recognize the value of enjoying a meal and engaging in conversation with others. Being part of the Dining Club program not only allows you to socialize but also provides opportunities to enhance your well-being through lifestyle improvements, education, and programs offered at the Dining Centers.

Care Services

If you’re navigating health challenges or uncertainties, PAA is here to provide you with guidance on housing options, in-home care, home-delivered meals, and to provide support for both families and caregivers. PAA works closely with you, whether you’re an older adult, an individual with disabilities, or a family caregiver, in identifying your needs and offering referrals and follow-up support as needed to successfully age in place.

Veteran Directed Care

As a Veteran, this self-directed program provides you with the opportunity to access essential services that enable you to stay in the comfort of your home and community. Tailored to meet the needs of Veterans, this program is specifically designed to benefit Veterans of any age who are facing nursing home placement or whose caregivers are overwhelmed. Enrollment in this program is through the VA Medical Center(s).

Veteran Transportation

For veterans like you, the Veteran Transportation Program is committed to ensuring that you have reliable transportation to reach the Hampton VA Medical Center for non-emergency medical care. This vital service is available to all veterans living in both the Virginia Peninsula and Southside Hampton Roads.

Legal Resources

At PAA, we offer a range of legal resources to older adults at no cost. The legal assistance provided supports the independence of older adults to live in the home and in the community, with choice and empowerment. These services include Free Wills Program, Legal Aid and Elder Abuse Prevention Programs.
